Ikat
An ikat print is one of my favorites! I'm always drawn to these primitive, ethnic designs. I particularly like them because they are distinctive and bold but at the same time have soft, blurred edges.

Guest Post
Today I am featuring my first guest post! I asked Danielle from Danielle Oakey Interiors what she does to make her home feel more like spring? Here is what she had to say...Enjoy!
Hi, I am Danielle from Danielle Oakey Interiors.
I am SO excited for spring and I love adding touches of spring to my home.
This isn't very difficult for me since my home is full of bright colors all year round.
My favorite way to easily and inexpensively welcome spring in my home is by changing up my throw pillows.
These are my "winter" pillows.
I know, not very wintery but I love color!
I decided to tackle making my own throw pillows to save some money.
I had some leftover fabric from my chevron drapery and purchased the floral print from the clearance bin at Jo-Anns for $2.00. It was actually a sample piece that was being discontinued, lucky me!
Looks like spring to me, don't you think?
